Barry Lupino (1882–1962), born George Barry Lupino Hook, was a British comedian, film actor and producer.[1] He was the brother of the actor and comedian Stanley Lupino, the father of the actress Antoinette Lupino, and the uncle of the actresses Ida and Rita Lupino.[2]
As a television producer he worked on The Fred Emney Show (1957), Caxton's Tales (1958), It's a Square World (1960), Spike Milligan: A Series of Unrelated Incidents at Current Market Value (1961), Ooh La La! (1968) and Comedy Playhouse (1962–69).[2]
Lupino was married three times, to Gertrude Letchford, Mary Georgina Gordon Anstruther[3] and Doriel M. Phillips.[2]
